The 2025 Women's Beach Volleyball Team defeated Chaminade Tuesday and made history by clinching the first ever Mission League Championship for beach volleyball at Notre Dame. The team is lead by the dominating 1st seed seniors Zoe Joshua, captain Mahlia Priestly, and returning beach veteran seniors Grace Voelz, Isabella Deantoni, and co-captain Dautry Berchtold-Karakasidis. Rounding out Tuesdays Varsity players are Anya Brach 28', Lina Puodziunas 27', Jocie Antin 26', Kate Sterle 25', Anya Wilson 26' and Reese Kehrli 28', who all helped to defeat Chaminade in fashion with a 5-0 sweep. Other notable wins this season for the Knights were over last year's Champions Notre Dame Academy 3-2, and last year's 2nd place Harvard Westlake 5-0.
The undefeated Knights prepare to compete for the Mission League Pairs Tournament this Thursday and look forward to their first round of play-offs in a couple weeks.
