Notre Dame High School is proud to announce that longtime assistant coach Giorgi Kartvelishvili has been named the new Head Coach of our Boys Water Polo program.
Coach Kartvelishvili steps into the role following the retirement of John Hirn, who has led the program with dedication and distinction for many years.
"We are excited to have someone who has invested so much time and effort into the program continue its growth and momentum," said Athletic Director Alec Moss. "Coach Kartvelishvili's passion, experience, and deep connection to our student-athletes make him the ideal leader for this next chapter."
We thank Coach Hirn for his years of service and look forward to more great moments ahead for Notre Dame Water Polo.
Kartvelishvili will continue to lead the men's water polo program, which will begin competing this fall.
