Notre Dame High School has been named one of the Top 25 Best High Schools for Athletes in California, earning the No. 18 spot in a recent ranking by USA Today. The list was compiled using a combination of student and parent survey feedback and data from the U.S. Department of Education.
With 25 competitive sports programs and plans to launch girls flag football in Fall 2025, Notre Dame continues to build on its strong tradition of athletic excellence. Drawing student-athletes from across Greater Los Angeles, the school has consistently excelled both on and off the field.
The 2024–2025 school year was a standout, with:

6 Mission League Championship titles
2 CIF State Championships
Multiple teams advancing to the CIF-SS playoffs
