Notre Dame baseball alumni Giancarlo Stanton (Class of 2007) and Hunter Greene (Class of 2017) are set to compete in the first round of the MLB Playoffs. Both were standout players during their time at Notre Dame. Stanton, now with the New York Yankees, will face off against the Boston Red Sox. Meanwhile, Greene, pitching for the Cincinnati Reds, will return to his hometown of Los Angeles as the Reds take on the Dodgers.
