Notre Dame High School Baseball hosted a highly successful Alumni Game on Saturday, January 31, bringing together current players, alumni, families, and supporters for a full day of celebration and competition.
The day began with the Senior Ceremony, recognizing the senior baseball players and their families for their commitment to the program. This was followed by the presentation of the Hunter Greene Scholarship, honoring excellence in the classroom and on the Notre Dame Campus.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the Alumni Home Run Derby, won by 2002 alumnus and former MLB player Brett Hayes. The event showcased the strong bond between generations of Notre Dame baseball players and the pride alumni continue to have in the program.
The day concluded with a seven-inning game between the Varsity Knights and the Alumni team. In an exciting and competitive matchup, the Varsity Knights earned a 10–6 victory, providing a fitting finish to a memorable day.
Notre Dame Athletics would like to thank all alumni, families, and supporters who helped make the event a success and continue to strengthen the tradition of Notre Dame Baseball.
