Notre Dame High School proudly recognizes both its individual honorees and team achievements in the 2025–26 CIF Southern Section Academic Awards, highlighting the outstanding success of our student-athletes in the classroom, in competition, and across campus life.

Senior student-athletes Michael Baldwin (Football) and Kaitlyn Camcam-Tan (Girls Golf) have been named Notre Dame’s CIF Academic Student-Athletes of the Year. Both exemplify the balance of academic success, athletic commitment, and meaningful involvement on campus. Michael is an active member of ASB, while Kaitlyn contributes her leadership through Christian Leadership, reflecting the well-rounded experience that defines Notre Dame student-athletes.

The CIF Academic Awards program recognizes both team and individual excellence across the Southern Section. Team awards are based on cumulative grade point averages, with eligibility requiring at least five student-athletes maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA during the first semester or first two quarters of the 2025–26 school year.

Notre Dame proudly had all 25 varsity programs meet the CIF criteria for Academic Award recognition this year, earning honorable mention status across the board. This includes all 12 boys programs and all 13 girls programs, a reflection of the department’s consistent commitment to academic excellence.

In addition to team recognition, 359 senior student-athletes were honored as their school’s “Student-Athlete of the Year.” Each recipient has maintained a minimum 3.5 GPA over the past three years, earned a varsity letter, and demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities.

Alec Moss, Athletic Director, Notre Dame High School, said, “I am proud of all of our student-athletes and coaches for this tremendous honor. For multiple years now, our coaches and student-athletes have taken on the challenges in the classroom and on the athletic competition stage with great effort and pride. I am so proud. I am also truly thankful for our Notre Dame teachers who continue to challenge and grow our student-athletes in the classroom and support them through their extracurriculars.”
