Notre Dame standout Navorro Bowman Jr. has earned a prestigious opportunity on the national stage, being selected to the U17 Team USA National Team.
“The entire ND basketball family is incredibly proud that NaVorro will be representing our community on an international stage," said head coach Matt Sargeant. "He’s a high level player and even better person, and we can’t wait to watch him bring home the gold!”
Bowman will represent the United States as part of a talented roster led by head coach Scott Fitch. The team will begin international competition on June 27 when USA Basketball U17 Men's National Team takes on France in its opening game.
Bowman, a standout athlete at Notre Dame will be entering his senior season and has helped lead the Knights to two impressive seasons.
